Susan "Ma" Frances Mariano

Susan "Ma" Frances Mariano, nee Perrone, age 76, of Abingdon, Maryland passed away on January 20, 2022 at her home. Born in Baltimore City, Maryland, she was the loving daughter of Doris (Plum) Skalinski and the late Norris Perrone. Married Nov. 21, 1963, she was the loving wife of Thomas Mariano, whom she called “Hon”. She enjoyed crafts and loved caring for her grandchildren.

Susan is survived by her husband of 58 years Thomas Mariano; son, Thomas S. Mariano; daughters, Donna (Tom) Marie Wills and Susan (Rick) Frances Clayton; sisters, Maryann Rowley and Patricia Campbell; grandchildren, Curtis Mariano, Ricky Clayton, Ryan Wills, Mackenzie Wills and Dylan Mariano; and stepfather, Milton Skalinski. She was also known as mom-mom to Dalaney Bersani

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Milton Skalinski and Raymond Skalinski, and sister, Barbara Burchacki.
