We mourn the passing of Susan Bailey, who passed away on 4/5/25. Born in Baltimore on 11/28/41 to Joseph I. Bauer Sr. (Father) and G. Ellison Owens (Mother). She later moved out to Harford County (Bar Harbor Area). She graduated from Edgewood Senior High School in 1960. She lived in Harford County her entire life.

Susan has been married before – William F. Mueller, with whom she had two sons Douglas S Mueller and Michael E Mueller. William H Bailey was her second husband and she had four stepchildren Vicky Denniston, Dale Bailey, Steven Bailey, and Patrica McBride. Susan’s husband for the last 35 years was Frank Wenham, with two stepchildren: Michael Wenham and Heather Myers. She was also survived by two daughters in law, Kathleen Wenham and Deborah Mueller and one son in law, Mark Myers.

Susan has six grandchildren: Kindrea Mueller, Sarah Phares, Gabiela Wenham, Megan Wenham, McKenna Myers, and Addison Myers. Four great grandchildren, Michael Still Jr., Autumn Hughes, Hayden Hughes, and Waylen Phares

Susan has lived and worked in the Harford County area all her life. She worked for multiple companies, including Fair Lanes Edgewood, later known as AMF Edgewood, a mortgage company (I cannot remember the name), and The Gap. It seemed like she was always working at the Bowling Alley in some form or fashion, as the Snack bar Manager, Snack Bar server, Bartender, or Relief Manager. Susan bowled as well, mainly on the Saturday night league (Harford Major Mixed). She loved her hobbies of crocheting and quilting. Most recently, puzzle-building was a favorite. She always had a dog, way too many to list. She loved spending time at the beach house (camper). Gulls Way Campground was her home away from home. She was obsessed with the Peanuts gang, she was Snoopy.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Susan's name to The American Heart association and The American Lung Association.
