Sue Thomas

Sue Thomas, age 75, of Montgomery Village, Maryland passed away on January 31, 2021 at Medstar Montgomery Medical Center in Olney, Maryland. Born in Lansing, North Carolina, she was the daughter of Miles and Beryl Powers. She grew up on Indian Spring Farm in Darlington, MD and attended Dublin Elementary School and Dublin United Methodist Church. She was a 1963 graduate of Bel Air High School and attended Harford Community College. She retired in 2002 from IBM where she worked as an analyst for many years. She loved animals, crossword puzzles, country music, lighthouses, traveling to local sites around Maryland, photography and her friends and family.

Sue is survived by her sons, Randall Thomas of Gaithersburg and Christopher Thomas; wife, Ginger Thomas; granddaughter, Skylar Thomas of Mt. Airy; and brother, Brad Powers of Carrollton, GA.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Bettye Mae Wine.
