Stuart Ellis, age 90, of Belcamp, Maryland passed away on February 14, 2022 at Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center & Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Born in Richmond, Virginia, he was the son of the late John and Florence (Peise) Ellis.
Stuart was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in the Korean War. He was a member of Union Chapel United Methodist Church, Joppa, Maryland. He enjoyed camping with his family, square dancing with his wife, watching westerns and Ravens Football, and playing BINGO and golf. He also enjoyed singing with the Chorus of the Chesapeake, and in Barbershop quartets—and spontaneously singing whenever the mood struck.
Stuart is survived by his wife of 71 years in March 2022, Dorothy Ellis; daughter, Barbara (Thomas) Hartzell; son, David (Meghan) L. Ellis; and grandchildren, Timothy Zeller and Emma Zeller.
