Timonium

Steven Michael Lewis Sr., age 70, of Timonium, Maryland, passed away on January 6, 2025, at Stella Maris in Timonium. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of the late Harold and Elizabeth (Cavallio) Lewis.

A proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force, Steven served during the Vietnam War. A longtime resident of Harford County, he lived most of his life in the area, later settling in Timonium. He worked for over 30 years at Allison Transmission in White Marsh, MD.

Steven had a passion for singing, often performing at the VFW, with a special love for Elvis songs. He was a dedicated fan of the Baltimore Ravens and Orioles and enjoyed karaoke in his free time. In his younger years, he was an active member of the Sons of Italy.

Steven is survived by his family and friends who will deeply miss his warmth, humor, and the joy he brought to those around him.

Steven is survived by his daughter, Rachel Emma Lewis Mace and her husband Douglas Howell Mace, II of Bel Air, MD; cousins, Ed Rayman, and Theresa Ann Schaefer Rayman of Las Vegas, NV; sister, Sharon Lewis Kuhn and half-sister, Sheila Sauer.

In addition to his parents, Steven was preceded in death by son, Steven Michael Lewis, Jr., brother, David Lewis and first wife Vickie (Skeens) Lewis.
