Steven Blanchard Sadler

Steven Sadler, 57, of Joppa, MD, passed away on September 11, 2017 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of Frank Sadler of Joppatowne and the late Blanche Marie (Matousek) Pinning. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he worked in logistics at Aberdeen Proving Ground. He received an Associate Degree from Harford Community College, enjoyed photography and nature, and had a great interest in meteorology. He also had an interest in lighthouses and enjoyed going to the ocean.

Mr. Sadler is survived by his wife of 20 years, Lillian Kirk Sadler; children, Adam Sadler of Joppa and Ashley O'Brien of Edgewood; step-children, Katrina Engel of Simpsonville, SC and Robert Bryant of MD; siblings, Bruce Sadler of Westminster and Christine Keller of Hunt Valley; and grandchildren, Adam Sadler, Christopher O'Brien Jr. and Mackenzie O'Brien.
