Steve Meadowcroft

Steve Meadowcroft, age 60, of Abingdon, Maryland passed away on February 20, 2017 at the Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, Maryland. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of Gloria Barbara (Speciale) Meadowcroft of Forest Hill, MD and the late Hugh Bernard Meadowcroft. He was a member St. Margaret Catholic Church in Bel Air and the Knights of Columbus-Cardinal Gibbons Council in Perry Hall.

Steve enjoyed fishing with his daughters Katie and Stephanie on the Eastern Shore and hunting with his son-in-law, Mike. He also loved spending summers on the beach in Ocean City with his wife Cathy, watching the O's play, and taking his girls and golden retrievers on drives through the country. He never passed up a good meal and loved his mom's Italian cooking.

Mr. Meadowcroft is survived by his wife of 33 years, Catherine G. Meadowcroft; daughters, Catherine C. Meadowcroft-Zirrolli and husband, Michael, of Abingdon, and Stephanie J. Meadowcroft of Abingdon; and his siblings, Michael P. Meadowcroft of Baltimore, Susan J. Becker of Bel Air, Timothy D. Meadowcroft of Selbyville, DE, and Gloria A. Kenney of Bel Air.
