Stephen Edward Murphy, age 29, of Bel Air, Maryland, passed away on December 9, 2023, at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the beloved son of David and Lisa (Magness) Murphy.
Stephen was a passionate and talented musician who found joy in the rhythm of life. A drummer at heart and a skilled guitarist, he poured his soul into the music he loved. In his downtime, Stephen embraced the world of video games, finding a source of relaxation and entertainment. He was also an organ donor.
Educated and industrious, Stephen earned his HVAC certificate from Harford Community College and went on to obtain his HVAC license for the state of Maryland. His enthusiasm for his work in the HVAC field was evident to all who knew him. Stephen took pride in his profession and valued the connections he made throughout his career.
Stephen is survived by his loving family, including his brother, David Lee Murphy, and sister, Sheila Catherine Murphy. He will be remembered not only for his talents but also for the warmth, kindness, and dedication he brought to his relationships.
