Stephen Jack Sharpeta

STEPHEN JACK SHARPETA, age 60, of Joppatowne, died in Franklin Square Hospital on February 27, 2003. Born in Clairton, Pennsylvania, he was the son of Steve Sharpeta of Elrama, Pennsylvania and the late Mary Elizabeth Polcawich Sharpeta. He worked for the government as an accountant. He was an active member of the Joppatowne Lions Club and Holy Spirit Catholic Church. He served his country in the Air Force during the Vietnam Conflict.

Mr. Sharpeta is survived by his wife, Vicki J. Dobie Sharpeta; three sons, Robert Tige Sharpeta of Joppatowne; Stephen Michael Sharpeta of Baltimore; Shawn Anthony Sharpeta of Baltimore; one brother, Andrew “Butch” Joseph Sharpeta of Elizabeth, Pennsylvania; four sisters, Patricia Jean Charles of Elrama, Pennsylvania; Paula Elaine Vosovic of Phoenix, Arizona; Geri Marie Crino of Monroeville, Pennsylvania; and Nancy Jo Sheppard of Upper Synclair, Pennsylvania. In addition to his mother, he was predeceased by one son, Brian Scott Sharpeta and one sister, Maryann Adkins.
