Stephanie Bozylinski Flaherty

Stephanie Bozylinski Flaherty, age 56, of White Hall, Maryland passed away on May 9, 2023 at her home with her daughter Teagan and husband Brian by her side. Born in Baltimore, MD, she is the daughter of Evelyn (Kazemka) Bozylinski and the late Leon Bozylinski, Jr. Stephanie was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2003 while pregnant with her daughter Teagan and became an advocate for breast cancer awareness. A lifelong member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Hydes, MD, Stephanie had a strong faith, taking a pilgrimage to Lourdes, France in 2013 with the Order of Malta. She was a professional graphic designer, an amazing artist, and photographer. Stephanie cherished animals — especially cats and birds — and loved riding horses and playing polo. Dedicated to physical fitness, Stephanie enjoyed running, tennis, field hockey, and lacrosse. Stephanie was extremely organized and passionate about being a wife and mother. Stephanie traveled often, with the Caribbean and Europe being among her favorite locations. “Stef” also appreciated a good toasted almond (as long as the drink was made correctly!) served with a petit fillet mignon and stuffed orange roughy.   

In addition to her mother, Stephanie is survived by her husband Brian Flaherty and daughter Teagan Quinn Flaherty; sister Helen Grant and nephew Alec Grant; brother Michael Bozylinski; and sister Elena (Dave) Cole, niece Isabel Cole, and nephew Sebastian Cole.
