Stella Brown Crowther

Stella Brown Crowther, age 82, of Forest Hill, MD passed away on March 27, 2016 at her home. Born in Grant, VA she was the daughter of the late Van Buren Brown and Lucy Bell (Blevins) Brown. She worked for Corbin Bus Company as a school bus driver and was a very active member of Bel Air Church of the Nazarene. She enjoyed keeping the family up on one another and always sent birthday and anniversary cards to everyone. She had a green thumb and enjoyed her plants and flowers. She also enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and canning and freezing items from her garden.

Mrs. Crowther is survived by her husband of 62 years, Earle W. Crowther; daughters, Cathy Dunn of Aberdeen and Cindy Crowther of Bel Air; son, Timothy Earle Crowther of Havre de Grace; brother, Blaine Brown of Maryland Line; sisters, Edith Joines of Street, Lois Boyles and Bonnie Dente both of Middletown, DE; and grandson, Andrew Crowther of Forest Hill. Mrs. Crowther is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her sister, Goldie Brown.

Stella was the living embodiment of a gentle spirit and soul; kind and generous to all she has come into contact with. We will continue to embrace her lovingly, with equal parts gratitude, unending respect, and blessed as we are for the joy of being her husband, daughters, son, sisters, brother and grandson.
