STANLEY J. CRAIG, age 70, of Edgewood, died in Lorien Riverside Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Belcamp, MD on August 20, 2003. Born in Rosendale, New York, he was the son of the late Luther and Hazel Simmons Craig, and the husband of the late Sarah M. Frasier Craig. He was a self-employed carpenter. He was a member of the V.F.W. of Joppatowne, MD and the American Legion of Edgewood, MD. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and loved snowmobiling. He was a loving husband, super dad, and a good grandfather. He enjoyed his family and friends. He served his country during the Korean Conflict.
Mr. Craig is survived by four daughters, Myrtle A. Creson of Cameron, North Carolina; Cynthia L. Stover of Spring Lake, North Carolina; Delphine R. Hamilton of Aberdeen, Maryland; Crystal L. Windsor of Edgewood, Maryland; one brother, James Craig of Bennie Water, New York; two sisters, Ruth Avery of Connecticut, New York; Dorothy Sutton of Kingston, New York; six grandchildren, Joshua B. Creson of Cameron, North Carolina; William J. Allen of Orlando, Florida; Stanley L. Allen of Edgewood, Maryland; Travis J. Hamilton of Aberdeen, Maryland; Rebecca A. Allen of Edgewood, Maryland; Cody J. Windsor of Edgewood, Maryland; two great-grandchildren, Mercedes A. Bastain of Edgewood, Maryland and Luke E. Allen of Abingdon, Maryland.
