Stanley Elliott "Pop Pop" Smallwood Sr.

Stanley Elliott Smallwood Sr. "Pop Pop", 78, of Bel Air, MD, passed away on February 19, 2015 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air. Born in Joppa, MD, he is the son of the late Stanley Elliott Smallwood and Pauline Virginia Bruce Chisholm and husband of the late Patricia Grace Doss Smallwood. He started his working life with Keithley Brothers in Joppa where his father had previously worked, before owning and operating Smallwood's Amoco and Smallwood's Towing for 48 years. He was a great provider for his family and loved to call everyone "George" and the family still doesn't know who George is. He enjoyed family, friends, fishing and coupon clipping.

Mr. Smallwood is survived by his children, Stanley E. Smallwood Sr. and wife, Deborah, of Edgewood, Edward Bruce Smallwood of Darlington, James Baxter Smallwood and wife, Catherine, of Edgewood, David Paul Smallwood and wife, Angela, of Edgewood, Patricia Ann Bennett of Joppa and Tammy Lynn Renner and husband, Curtis, of Belcamp; grandchildren, Matthew and Ryan Smallwood, Travis and Robert Bennett, Tony Smallwood, Sarah and Amanda Whitworth, Jacob Renner, Jessica, Christopher, Dylan, Austin, Olivia, Stephen, Andrew, Zach and Lauren Smallwood, Nicholas Guyton and 10 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by his son, Michael Brian Smallwood and son-in-law, Donny Bennett.

Pallbearers will be his grandchildren.
