Shirley Scarff, age 78, of Belcamp, MD passed away on January 25, 2013 at her home. Born in Street, MD, she was the daughter of the late Earl McKee and Lola Virginia Hash and wife of 50 years to the late Thomas W. Scarff. A homemaker, she was a member of Emory United Methodist Church, where she was very active in Sunday school and dinners. She liked to travel with her husband and spend time at the family beach house in Ocean City. She was an avid reader, enjoyed working crossword puzzles and time with her grandchildren who called her Mom-Mom.
Mrs. Scarff is survived by her sons, Richard Webster of Nottingham and William Scarff of Reisterstown; grandchildren Lauren and Ryan; and numerous nieces and nephews, but was particularly close to Regina Evans of Darlington who was with her through her final days. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by brothers, Stewart and Kyle Hash and sister, Hazel Hash.
