Shirley Owens

Shirley Owens, age 69, of Edgewood, Maryland passed away on April 1, 2017 at Bel Air Health and Rehabilitation in Bel Air, Maryland. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of Sheldon and Evelyn Smith. She volunteered at the Harford County Library, Edgewood Senior Center, and The Lord of Life Lutheran Church's Food Pantry.

Ms. Owens is survived by her children, Lisa Gessner of Abingdon and Richard S. Wilson Jr. and wife, Marcia, of Aberdeen; brother, Charles Smith; and grandchildren, Jennifer A. Gessner, Zachary D. Hinton, Stephanie R. Wilson, Brandon A. Wilson and Bradley L. Wilson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Sheldon Smith.
