Shirley Loretta Day

Shirley Loretta Day, age 78, of Edgewood, Maryland went to be with the Lord on February 25, 2020 at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland. Born in War, West Virginia, she was the daughter of John and Lona (Addair) VanDyke and wife of the late Jack Day.

Shirley is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Carol Koester and husband Jay; son, Jim Day; grandsons, Jimmy Day, Jamie Streb and Joey Koester; granddaughters, Ashley Day and Brianna Koester; great-granddaughters, Aurora Streb and Jacqueline Streb; great-grandsons, JJ Koester, James Jaxon Day and Corbin Stafford; brother, Fred VanDyke; sisters, Imogene Mitchell, Brenda Rutherford, Kathy Stress, Linda Campolli and Pamela Wingo.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, J.W. VanDyke and Donald VanDyke and sister, Janice VanDyke.
