Shirley ''Kaye'' Brewer (Nee Gibson)

Shirley "Kaye" Brewer (nee Gibson), age 63, of Joppa, MD, passed away on January 1, 2012 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Detroit, MI, she was the daughter of Virginia Lorene Allcock Davenport of Edgewood, MD and the late Charles Dates Gibson, and wife of the late Roger Lee Brewer. She retired after 28 years from the Maryland House where she worked as a waitress. She enjoyed dancing and spending time with her family.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her sons Robert Lee Brewer and wife, Shari, of Abingdon, MD, Richard Lee Brewer of Mebane, NC and Anthony James Brewer and wife, Cindy, of Colora, MD; brother, Thomas G. Davenport of Berlin, MD; sister, Cara Letke of Fallston, MD; seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
