Shirley Jo Appel

Shirley Jo Appel, 76, of Street, MD passed away on September 20, 2017 at Seasons Hospice at Franklin Square in Rosedale, MD. Born in Brandy, VA, she was the daughter of William Arch and Anna Lois (Hall) Mitchell and was the wife of the late Luther Purnell Appel. She was a seamstress for 15 years, and worked for Line Plastics for 7 years. An avid gardener, she loved flowers and enjoyed making crafts.

Mrs. Appel is survived by her brother, Ricky Allen Mitchell; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, S. Joyce Appel.
