Shirley Ann Dowell

Shirley Ann Dowell, age 79, of Aberdeen, MD passed away on June 26, 2017 at her home. Born in Whiteford, MD, she was the daughter of Edgell William and Eva Ruth (Hale) Seymour and was the wife, for 60 years, of the late Charles Reed Dowell Sr. She had worked as a nursing assistant and was a devoted mother and grandmother who always put everyone else's needs ahead of her own. She was a chocolate fanatic, she also enjoyed candy and sweets, yard sales, antiquing, thrift stores as well as, flowers, plants, gardening and working puzzles.

Mrs. Dowell is survived by her sons, Charles Reed Dowell (Danielle) and Larry Wayne Dowell (Dina); grandchildren, Selena Goodson, Amber Burcham, Gabrielle Dowell, Meghan Dowell, Sarah Dowell and Deanna Dowell; and 7 great-grandchildren.
