Sharon Kay Cook

Sharon Kay Cook, age 65, of Forest Hill, MD passed away peacefully on March 30, 2019 at Hart Heritage Estates - Forest Hill in Forest Hill, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Russell Leonard and Margaret Elizabeth (Walsh) Wagner. She was the wife of Allan Jeffery Cook and was married for 44 years. She worked as a customer service representative for BG&E for 14 years. Sharon made an impact on everyone she met with her infectious smile and love of her family. She enjoyed reading, shopping, and creating wreaths. She was an avid cruiser and traveler. Additionally, she loved spending time with her cats.

In addition to her husband, survivors include her two sons, Russell (Mayra) Cook and Wesley (Tracy) Cook; daughter, Kelly Cook; three grandsons, Owen Cook, Ryan Cook, and Matthew Cook; and two sisters, Linda Wilson and Susan Awalt, two nieces Katie Awalt-Crocker, and Kristen Wilson, and one nephew Scott Awalt.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by daughter, Amy Cook.
