Sharon Kay Brady, age 64, of Aberdeen, Maryland passed away on February 8, 2023 at her home. Born in Havre de Grace, Maryland, she was the daughter of Harold and Margie (Mullins) Adkins and wife of the late Clyde Leonard Brady. She attended Edgewood High School, Edgewood, MD and was retired from the Maryland National Guard-Edgewood Area. She worked as a facilities manager and was a licensed minister by the state of Tennessee-Missionary Chapel and Seminary. Sharon was a self-trained artist and a natural musician able to play piano, guitar, banjo and the electronic keyboard. She was also a published author of the book “Flowers in the Storm”.
Sharon is survived by daughters, Jamie Christina Smith and Heather Maxine Jarvis, both of Elkton, VA; Mary A. Canami of Aberdeen and Glenda Ellen Montler of Port Deposit; brothers, Gary Gene Adkins of Fredericksburg, VA and Willie Joe Adkins of Platteville, CO; grandchildren, Hannah Bartel, Ashley Sheets, Jacob Bartel, Matthew Corsa, Brandon Corsa, Ryan Corsa, Austin Corsa and Logan Bartel; and 5 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brother, Timothy Reed Adkins.
