Sharon D. Hipley

Sharon D. Hipley, age 62, of Bel Air, MD, passed away on March 28, 2012 at her home. Born in Baltimore, MD, she is the daughter of Mary Annalee McClary Zimmerman and the late Earle Royston Hipley. A 1967 graduate of Bel Air High School, she was a 1974 graduate of the Union Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. She worked as a Registered Nurse at Harford Memorial Hospital and enjoyed working at Forest Hill Bowling Lanes. An avid Ravens fan, she loved animals and enjoyed Facebook, Farmville and Godvine. She was a very compassionate and patriotic supporter of the Armed Forces.

In addition to her mother she is survived by her son, Matthew P. Hipley of Bel Air, MD; and sisters, Joann M. Sliger of Whiteford, MD, June A. Poole of Pylesville, MD and Wendy C. Rizzo of Winchester, VA. In addition to her father she was predeceased by her brothers, Earle R. Hipley Jr. and Jerry W. Hipley.
