Winfield E. “Bart” Sewell, age 53, of Red Lion, Pennsylvania, formerly of Bel Air, Maryland, died at his home on May 22, 2006. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Arthur M., Sr. and Catherine M. Robinson Sewell. He was a mechanic for the town of Bel Air, MD. He was a highly decorated Sgt. First Class in the United States Army serving in Vietnam. He tested and developed the M1 Abrahms Tank and worked on the Humvee program. He was a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans, the VFW of Bel Air, MD and the NRA.
Mr. Sewell is survived by his wife of 33 years, Margaret A. Gilliam Sewell; a son, Michael Sewell and his wife, Elizabeth, of York, PA; and three grandchildren, Johnathan and Caelan Sewell of Bel Air, MD and Rebekah Sewell of York, PA.
He was preceded in death by a son, Lt. Brian L. Sewell; a granddaughter, Abigail M. Sewell; and a brother, Arthur M. Sewell, Jr.
