Selma E. Kilby

SELMA E. KILBY, age 95, of Bel Air, MD, died on April 22, 2006 at the Lakewood Ranch Medical Center in Bradenton, FL. Born in Whitehead, NC, she was the daughter of the late Daniel Monroe and Margaret Ann Richardson Edwards. She was the wife for 67 years of the late Delmas J. Kilby, and was a homemaker. Her family said that she was an avid knitter and gardener. Her family meant everything to her, and she enjoyed her grandchildren. She was a member of the Red Hats Society.

Mrs. Kilby is survived by four sons, Charles D. Kilby, Daniel D. Kilby and Harold D. Kilby, all of Bel Air, MD and Vonley C. Kilby of Bedford, PA; three daughters, Barbara I. Anders of Bradenton, FL, Iva Jean Boylan of Ellerbee, NC and Kathleen Cox of Valdosta, FL; 20 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and numerous great great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Michael F. Anders, Larry D. Kilby, Philip D. Kilby, David M. Kilby, R. Steven Blevins and John P. Cox, Jr. The Honorary Pallbearer was Benjamin C. Kilby.
