SCOTT E. LURZ, age 51, of Bel Air, died at his home on October 16, 2004. Born in Baltimore, he was the son of Faye Unthank Lurz of Mooresburg, Tennessee and the late Walter Boyce Lurz. He had worked for Baltimore Gas and Electric for 25 years as a senior boiler mechanic. He enjoyed carving ducks.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Lurz is survived by his wife of 31 years, Linda S. Horn Lurz; one son, Clay S. Lurz of North East; two daughters, Candace L. Mantyk of Colora; Carrie R. Lurz of Bel Air; three brothers, Walter L. Lurz of Port St. Lucy, Florida; Kurt D. Lurz of Abingdon; Mark N. Lurz of Mooresburg, Tennessee; two sisters, Neva N. Nolen of Beanstation, Tennessee; Kara E. Cunningham of Talbot, Tennessee; and one granddaughter, Taylor L. Mantyk. He is also survived by a mother-in-law, Edith W. Graham of Essex; and a sister-in-law, Sherri R. Graham of Elkridge.
Pallbearers will be: Clay S. Lurz, Dan Mantyk, and Aaron T. Katz.
