Scott Clark, age 68, passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2024, at his home in Aberdeen, MD.
He was born to James Thomas and Evelyn Rose (Belzner) Clark, III, in Baltimore City, MD, on June 14, 1955, “Flag Day”, a fact he was always proud of. Scott graduated from Cardinal Gibbons Catholic School in Baltimore in 1973.
Scott was very outgoing and enjoyed hosting parties for his friends. He loved horse racing, fishing, gardening, baseball, and home repair & improvement. Scott was also an expert stained-glass artist, with many of his works installed in restaurants and churches around the country. 
Scott joined the US Air Force in 1977, serving over 13 years as a weapons maintenance sergeant. He served during the Gulf War, where he was injured during a bombing of his air base. Scott was awarded the US Air Force Commendation medal, the Air Force Achievement medal, the Good Conduct medal with 3 clusters, the National Defense Service medal and an Outstanding Unit citation.
In 1979, Scott married his first wife, Joyce Harbula, and the couple were blessed with two daughters. In 2012, Scott married Kelle Luoma in Ashland, OR.
Scott is survived by his wife; Kelle Luoma Clark, his first wife; Joyce Harbula Clark; two daughters, Jocelyn Clark (Michael Stinebaugh) and Melissa Clark, two stepsons; Jonathan and Mitchell Luoma, three grandchildren; and his older brother James Richter Clark (Sherry Bond), as well as many cousins.
Scott was preceded in death by his parents; Jim in 2004 and Evelyn in 2015.
Private memorial services will be held later this spring at Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville, where he will be inurned near his parents. Arrangements by McComas Funeral Home of Abingdon, MD (www.mccomasfuneralhome.com). The family suggests donations in his name to Wounded Warrior Project (www.woundedwarriorproject.org) or Racehorse Relief (www.racehorserelief.org).
