Saundra Lee Watts-Wilks

Saundra "Sandy" Lee Watts-Wilks, 67, of Bear, Delaware passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, January 11, 2016.

Sandy was born on June 12, 1948 in Baltimore, Maryland. She is survived by her husband, Peter Wilks; her daughter Kimberly Boehnlein and husband Ray of Joppa, Maryland; her grandson, Matthew Daughtery; one soon to be great-granddaughter; her sister, Beverly Dearing and husband John of Fruitland, Maryland; nieces Kristy Grace and Kara Points; one great-niece and one great-nephew.
Sandy also leaves behind five stepchildren, fourteen step-grandchildren, and eight step-great-grandchildren. Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. James Franklin Watts and Mrs. Margaret Naomi Watts of Baltimore, Maryland, and her aunt, Mrs. Rosalie Hyatt of Baltimore, Maryland.

Sandy was a loving wife, a wonderful and loyal friend, and a doting mother and grandmother. Sandy made everyone she met feel like family; to know Sandy was to be loved by her. She will be missed dearly by countless family and friends.

A celebration of her life will be held following the memorial service at the Joppatowne Christian Church, 725 Trimble Road, Joppa, Maryland at 4:00 pm.
