Sarah Martha Walter Boniface

Martha Walter Boniface, age 77, passed away on September 4th 2022 in Bel Air, Maryland. Born in Bel Air, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Charles & Eleanor Walter. Martha married Harry Boniface in 1965 and enjoyed 57 years of wedded bliss.

Martha graduated from Bel Air High School in 1963 and went on to attend nurses training in Baltimore. She enjoyed caring for her family, was an active member of the Country Garden Club of Harford County and was a teacher’s aide for Harford County Public Schools. In addition, she was an avid gardener, great cook and was a wonderful friend to many.

Martha is survived by her husband Harry, son David, daughter in law Carole and daughter Katie. Also, her brother Charles Walter and wife Mara, and sister-in-law Cheryl Walter. She was blessed with three grandchildren: Jack (wife Caroline), Helen and Zachary, and great grandson Rowen.

In addition to her parents, Martha was proceeded in death by her brother John C. Walter and sister Kay W. Bailey.

Visitation will be held at McComas Funeral Home, Bel Air, MD on Monday, September 12, 2022 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm.

The family will be hosting a memorial service on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church, Bel Air, MD at 1 pm.
