Sarah Catherine Hall

Sarah Holley Hall, age 87, of Jarrettsville, Maryland passed away peacefully on October 8, 2023 surrounded by family at her home. Born in Harford County on October 22, 1935, she was the daughter of the late James and Myrtle Holley.  Sarah was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother with a kind and caring spirit and she will be deeply missed by her family and friends.  She worked for the Harford County Public School System for thirty-seven years at Hickory Elementary School as a Secretary.  She survived by her three loving daughters Loray Bishop, Jenell Bigham and Carolyn Borden (Bret) and two loving sons Morris Hall, III (Tameka) and Robert Cromwell (Joyce).  She also survived by her five loving grandchildren and a host of family and special friends. All will feel the great void left by Sarah’s passing yet comforted by the everlasting memories shared.  She joyfully reunites with her father, mother and sister Jeanette Meyers, reminding us that death is not an end, but a beautiful beginning. Sarah loved word search puzzles and enjoyed taking weekend rides.  Her greatest love as everyone who knew Sarah was her love for rescue dogs.  Sarah was an avid dog lover.

The family would like to thank the amazing Hospice Care Team at Amedisys Hospice.  They were all wonderful people and the family could not have made it through this difficult time without their love and caring support.

At her request there will be no funeral or viewing.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donating to your favorite charity or performing an act of kindness.
