Sarah Elizabeth Hopkins

Sarah Elizabeth Hopkins, of Perryville, MD, died at the age of 61 on October 2, 2016 at her home. She was born in Baltimore, MD to Alfred Hinton and Eleanor Odie (Lathroum) Buck. She worked as a Commissary Manager in the horse racing industry. She enjoyed reading and doing crossword and word search puzzles. She also enjoyed nature, the beach and being around people, especially spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was an amazing and dedicated loving mother who was dearly loved by her family.

Survivors include her daughters, Niki McNeil (Tom) of Fort Mill, SC, Janis F. Salmon (Daniel) of Bel Air and Dorothy R. Burdsall (Brian) of Perryville; her sisters, Nettie L. Hall of Aberdeen, Mary C. Shifflett of Baltimore and Beatrice E. Makin of Conowingo; her brothers, Raymond A. Buck and Leo L. Buck both of Baltimore, and John A. Buck of Perryville; her grandchildren, Allen Sullivan, Samantha McNeil, Patrick Sullivan, Farrah Taylor and Natasha McNeil; and her great-grandchildren, Drayson and Avirha Sullivan.
