Sandra Pace (nee Crowder) passed from this life to the next Sunday, Nov 22, at the University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Medical Center, Bel Air, MD. She was born at St Agnes Hospital, Baltimore, October 24, 1968. Her parents, Margarette Crowder and the late Leo Crowder. Sandy was a graduate of Edgewood High School, the University of Maryland, and the Central Michigan University. After college, she worked for a small defense contractor and for the US Government at Ft Holibird, MD. Sandy’s Christian faith was the driving force of her life which expressed itself in service at several area churches in worship, youth ministry, and administration. She home-schooled her sons from their pre-school years through high school. She loved her family and friends, leading her trail class at Rock State Park, and trying new things.
Sandy is survived by her mother, Margarette Crowder of Abingdon, her husband Phil Pace and sons Noah and Nathan Pace of Bel Air. She is also survived by her brothers Phillip Crowder, Patrick Wallis, and Donald Wallis.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made to the “Just Having Fun Singers” which was very near and dear to her heart. Please make checks payable to Kathleen Kelly, P.O. Box 652, Fallston, MD 21047.
