Sandra Margaret Ruth

Sandra Margaret Ruth, age 75, of Fallston, Maryland passed away on March 23, 2023 at her home. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of Stanley and Noreen (Cavender) Wlodarczyk and wife of the late John "Jack" Howard Ruth. She spent her career as a telecommunications manager from the age of eighteen until her retirement. 

Sandra is survived by her daughters, Sherri Leonzio and Kristine (Jon) Cromwell; grandchildren, Mikayla Montgomery, Harper Cromwell and Eugene Leonzio III; sister, Patti Kuisel; and brothers, Phillip Wlodarczyk and Thomas Wlodarczyk. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Scott Wlodarczyk and James "Jimmy" Wlodarczyk.

Sandy, being the eldest of six children, knew what it was like taking care of others in need. Sandy volunteered throughout Harford County helping anyone that needed a little help getting back on their feet. One of those organizations she helped was the Harvest House: a place for men to make the transition from being incarcerated to a new life on the outside. Another place she helped was the village at Lakeview community in Edgewood: to provide food, clothes, household needs and most importantly her time. She began starting her own ministry shopping for children’s coats, boots, gloves and hats. That led to a food pantry for all who were in need or hungry. Her office was her garage where the shelves and freezers were full of every kind of food she could collect. Not only did she feed and care for people, but she also showed love to her many cats and dogs over the years.  She was always making sure she was feeding her daily backyard animals and birds too.  She adored animals like they were her children.  The door was always open to all those in need and in return she was loved by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her true passion was her faith in God and the love of her family and friends.
