Sandra Shirlette Harris

Age 81, of Edgewood, Maryland, passed away peacefully on November 15, 2024, at St. Joseph Medical Center in Towson, Maryland.

Born in Hendersonville, North Carolina, Sandra was the cherished daughter of the late Grover and Jane (Hill) Wiley and the beloved wife of Stephen Harris.

Sandra found her greatest joy in being a devoted grandmother, a role she held closest to her heart. Her grandchildren were her pride and delight, filling her life with love and laughter. She was also an avid gardener with a special passion for cultivating beautiful flowers, bringing life and color to every space she touched.

Sandra will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family, her gentle spirit, and her ability to find beauty in the world around her.

She is survived by her loving husband, Stephen, her children, her grandchildren, and numerous family members and friends who will miss her deeply.

Sandra’s legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

In addition to her husband, Sandra is survived by her daughter, Sandra Booth of MD; sons, David Booth of UT, Douglas Booth of MD, and Dennis Booth and his spouse Lisa of PA; grandchildren, Heather, Nicholas, Jackob, Kerri, Britney and Stephen; 15 great grandchildren; sisters, Leslie Rutherford, Gwendolyn Soloman, and Lisa Alexander; brothers, Grover Wiley, James Wiley, and Scott Smith. 

In addition to her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by son, Donald Booth, and grandson, Christopher.
