Sandra E. Knight

Sandra E. Knight, age 74, of Abingdon, MD, passed away on July 7, 2013 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Montgomery, WV, she was the daughter of the late Edith Mae Monday and was raised by her grandparents, Robert Monday and Effie Monday. She retired after 16 years from Shady Grove Hospital in Rockville where she was a Registrar.

Ms. Knight is survived by her son, Donald Ray Knight II of Tucson, AZ; daughters, Melissa L. England of Abingdon, Donna S. Knight of South Charleston, WV and Tiffany L. Johnson of Gaithersburg, MD; 10 grandchildren, Nicole, Chris, Stacey, Jeffrey, Donny, David, Steven, Brandon, Shane and Shannon; and great-grandchildren, Alexis, Andrew and Caden. In addition to her mother, she was predeceased by her son, Steven R. Knight.

Pallbearers will be Christopher R. Overkott, Jeffrey L. England, Jeffrey L. England II, Jackson V. Thotamwai, Krystal N. Vanderpuije, Jamal Vanderpuije and Brendon D. Anderson.
