Sandra Beall Irey

Sandra Beall Irey, of Bel Air, MD, died at the age of 74 on November 1, 2016 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air. She was born in Baltimore to Dallas Irvin and Dorothy Marie (Reese) Beall. Sandra was truly an amazing person. Throughout her life she led by example, always striving to be her best in any situation. Her friends and family alike admired her sense of responsibility and fairness while always considering and embracing others. She will be missed dearly here on earth but there is no doubt she is now free to be reunited with her family in heaven.

Survivors include her husband, Donald Lavern Irey; her daughter, Sherri Nettles and her husband Chris of Bel Air; her brother, Dallas Beall III; her sister, Susan Pape and husband, Olivier; her grandchildren, Will and Kate Nettles; her nephews, Joshua and Austin Lorah; and her step-daughters Jane Welsh, Lyn Boone and Suzanne Irey. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Steven Spilman.

Visitation will be held at McComas Funeral Home, P.A. in Bel Air, MD on Friday, November 18, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and on Saturday, November 19 from 10-11 a.m. at Churchville Presbyterian Church, Churchville, MD. Services will be at the church on Saturday at 11 a.m. with interment in the church cemetery followed by a luncheon in the fellowship hall.
