Sandra Adam

Sandra Adam, age 82, of Bel Air, MD passed away on December 5, 2017 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air. Born in Peterborough, England, she was the daughter of Sydney and Jessie (Davis) Hutchcraft and was the wife of the late Jaroslav “Jerry” Adam. She retired from the State of Maryland Social Services-Child Support Division. Sandra enjoyed spending time with all her family and traveling to see her extended family overseas. Her previous favorite pastime was playing tennis and later watching tennis matches on TV especially Wimbledon. She formerly attended St. Margaret Catholic Church in Bel Air.

Mrs. Adam is survived by her daughter, Vivienne M. Sheppard of Bel Air; two sons, Christopher (Angela) J. Adam of Willow Spring, NC and Nicholas (Shari) J. Adam of Port Deposit, MD; grandchildren, April Morris, Jesse Adam, Christy Behlke, Jessica Sheppard, Nolan Neville, Nicholas Adam and Cari Ellison; sisters, Barbara Brown (UK) and Janet Gallimore (South Africa); great grandchildren, Scotty Morris, Charlie Morris, Elizabeth Adam, Daniel Adam, Sophia Ellison and Jace Ellison; and loving nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Harry Hutchcraft.

Visitation and service will be private.
