Samuel Thomas Atkinson

Samuel Thomas Atkinson, 79, of Red Lion, PA passed away on September 15, 2017 at the Dallastown Nursing Center in Dallastown, PA. Born in Zanesville, OH, he was the son of Samuel Herbert and Mary Blanche (McGinnis) Atkinson. A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, he was employed in the insurance business. He enjoyed photography and for 50 years was affiliated with the Masons and other Masonic Orders.

Mr. Atkinson is survived by his wife, Helen Atkinson; children, Kathy Young, Nancy Spencer (William), Jerry Atkinson (Kathy), Cathy Williams (Riley), Linda Draper and Robin Pittaluga (Tony). Also survived by 15 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Terry Atkinson and his pet Bam-Bam.
