Salvatore "Sal" J. Maranto Iii

Salvatore "Sal" J. Maranto III, age 79, of Bel Air, Maryland passed away on June 13, 2020 at Hart Heritage Estates - Forest Hill in Forest Hill, Maryland. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of Mary Pauline (Pucci) and the late Salvatore Joseph Maranto and husband of 15 years to Marie Elena (Sacco) Maranto. He worked for the Department of the Army as an Electrical Engineer and was doing computer software when he retired. He was a member of Mountain Christian Church. Sal was a wonderful jack of all trades and enjoyed fixing just about anything when his health was good. For many years Sal loved living on the water in Perryman with his wife where they enjoyed the wildlife and good neighbors.

In addition to his mother and wife, Salvatore is survived by his son, Vincent R. Maranto; daughter, Dawn Brockmyer; two grandchildren; brother, Kenneth Maranto; and sister, Patricia Ann Rosen.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Charlette Mooney.
