Sally Marie Howe

SALLY MARIE HOWE, age 88, of Bel Air, died in Brian Center Health and Rehabilitation in Hertford, North Carolina on June 22, 2004. Born in Gates County, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Charles Madison and Sallie Stallings Riddick, and the wife of the late Richard B. Davis and the late Robert T. Howe. She had worked as a fifth grade elementary school teacher in Norfolk, Virginia and Edenton, North Carolina. She had been a resident of Bel Air for 40 years. During WW II she was in charge of the USO in Jacksonville, North Carolina for the Marines. She enjoyed shopping.

Mrs. Howe is survived by one son, Richard B. Davis of Belvidere, North Carolina; three grandchildren, Richard R. Davis of Bel Air; David B. Davis of Bel Air; Robert T. Davis of Abingdon; two great-grandchildren, Steven Davis of Bel Air ; and Kevin Davis of Bel Air.
