Sadie Catherine Saylor

Sadie Catherine Saylor, age 68, of Leander, TX passed away on February 16, 2017. Born in Frostburg, MD, she was the daughter of Lonzie Cleveland and Lillian Darlene (Adams) Champ and the wife of the late Joseph G. Barcase, Sr. and Thomas Saylor. She retired from the Harford County Board of Education as a teachers assistant and had taught last at William Paca Old Post Road Elementary School. She loved to work and was always there for others. She liked making people smile. She enjoyed her cabin that her son had built for her, especially sitting on her front porch swing watching the Cardinals.

Mrs. Saylor is survived by her sons, Frederick Barcase and his wife, Amy, and Joseph "Dunner" Barcase, Jr.; siblings, Gerald Champ, Mary Alice Hagy, Ronald Champ and Bruce Champ; and grandchildren, Christopher Barcase, Sierra Barcase and Nicholas Shelpack. In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by her brother, James Champ.
