S. Katheryn Van Meter

June 29, 1926 — September 21, 2012

S. Katheryn Van Meter, age 86, of Bel Air, MD, passed away on September 21, 2012 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Dry Fork, WV, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Glenn and Laura Ethel Bubar Judy and wife, for 35 years, of the late Stanley George Van Meter who passed away in 1980. An avid bowler, she liked her flowers and flower beds. She was also an avid Orioles fan and liked to travel. A former member of Brethren in Christ Church of Essex, she loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Van Meter is survived by her daughter, Sandra K. Cavallio and husband, Thomas, of Bel Air, MD; brother, Robert Judy of Denton, NC; sisters, Ethel Harold of Akron, OH and Glenda Gamble of Melbourne, FL; two grandchildren, Thomas Cavallio Jr. of Bel Air, MD and Paige D. Cavallio of Perry Hall, MD; and great-grandchild, Cameron Thomas Cavallio of Parkville, MD. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brother, Charles Judy and sister, Ruth Keck.
