S. Joyle Appel

S. JOYCE APPEL, age 40, of Street, died in Upper Chesapeake Medical Center on May 30, 2004. Born in Havre de Grace, she was the daughter of Luther Purnell and Shirley Jo Hall Appel of Street. Born and raised in Harford County, she had worked 9 years with Kleins Grocery Store and had moved to the new Cardiff store as a head cashier. She collected Boyd’s Bears and enjoyed decorating for the holidays.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Appel is survived by a grandmother, L. Anna Mitchell of Street; aunts and uncles, Gertrude Appel of Perry Hall; Gloria McCaine of Florida; Moselle Freund of Forest Hill; Charles Freund of Forest Hill; Eugene Appel of Bradshaw; Carolyn Appel of Bradshaw; Rick Mitchell of Street; Joyce Letke of Bel Air; and Roland Letke of Bel Air; and many cousins.
