Ruth Wood

Ruth Wood, 82, of Forest Hill, MD passed away on July 20, 2015 at her home. Born in Havre de Grace, MD, she was the daughter of the late Theodore Grace, stepdaughter of the late Margaret Grace and wife of the late Vaudrie "Bud" Wood. She worked as a secretary at APG/ Edgewood. She also worked for the Harford County Board of Elections, the Selective Service, and the Towson and Havre de Grace National Guard. An avid bowler and gardener, she was a fan of the Baltimore Colts and Ravens, the Orioles, NASCAR, golf and horseracing.

Mrs. Wood is survived by her sons, J. Mike Wood of Joppa, Joseph D. Wood and wife, Sherrie, of Delta, PA, Richard M. Wood and wife J.C. of Jarrettsville and Jeffrey P. Wood of Joppa; brothers, David Grace of Jarrettsville, Lawrence Grace of Perryville, Harold Grace and Kenneth Woodie Grace both of Aberdeen; sisters, Dorothy Sullivan of Havre de Grace and Marion Welch of Aberdeen; grandchildren, James F. Wood, Christopher M. Wood, Stephen J. Wood and Stacey A. Wood; and great-granddaughter, Harper Grace Wood. She was predeceased by her brothers, William L. Grace and Donald G. Grace.
