Ruth M. Davis Koester

Ruth M. Davis Koester, age 90, of Bel Air, MD, died on August 15, 2011 at her home. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Walter Goodman Davis and Catherine Elizabeth Wiegman Davis. In the 1950's, she ran the "Snack Bar" on Route 40, and the Davis tourist home at the "City Line" in Baltimore. She enjoyed spending time with her family.

Ms. Koester is survived by her son, Raymond Koester and wife, Jane, of Bel Air, MD; sisters, Violet Brusinsky and Dorothy Brooks, both of Rosedale, MD; three grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Rosalie Koester; and one goddaughter. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Robert L. Koester.
