Ruth M. Brown

RUTH M. BROWN, age 82, of Bel Air, MD, died at Forest Hill Health and Rehabilitation Center, Forest Hill, MD on June 19, 2007. Born in Bel Air, MD, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Franklin and Mary Elizabeth Settle Morrison. She graduated from Bel Air High School, Class of 1941 and was a member of the Rebekah’s and Oak Grove Baptist Church where her parents were both charter members. She and her husband enjoyed extensive world wide traveling. Her family was her world. She had previously resided in Sebring, FL for 16 years.

Mrs. Brown is survived by her husband of 65 years, Edward Earl Brown; a son, Robert “Bobby” Brown and his wife, Linda, of Port Deposit, Maryland; two daughters, Irene Brown of Bel Air, Maryland and Mary Samples and her husband, Richard, of Rising Sun, Maryland; a brother, Robert Morrison of Virginia; nine grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by three brothers, Joseph Morrison, Garland Morrison, and Wallace Morrison and a sister, Aletha Matherly.

Pallbearers will be: Brian Samples, Jeffrey Samples, David Samples, Eric Jones, David Brown and Michael Brown.
