Ruth Irene Kitts

Ruth Irene Kitts, 84, of Ocala, FL, passed away on December 30, 2015 at her home. Born in Yadkinville, NC, she was the daughter of the late Felix Monroe Edwards and Elsie Lee (Crouse) Edwards. She was a resident of Harford County and a member, for 25 years, of Oak Grove Baptist Church where she participated for 10 years with the Christmas Tree Program. She was strong in her faith. A wonderful cook, she enjoyed taking care of her home and spending time at her cabin on Broad Creek. She also enjoyed waterskiing.

Mrs. Kitts is survived by her husband, who she married in 1947, Ira Lindberg Kitts; daughters, Belinda D. Kuszynski of Ocala, FL and Theresa I. Kitts of Aberdeen; brother, Franklin E. Edwards of Bel Air; sister, Elizabeth G. Haulsey of Aberdeen; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Robert L. and Lonnie M. Edwards; sister, Myrtle Beamen and half-sisters, Ossie Hutchins and Oda Steelman.
