Ruth Elizabeth Minnick

Ruth Elizabeth Minnick, age 93, of Bel Air, MD, passed away on August 16, 2014 at her home. Born in Delta, PA, she was the daughter of the late Milford Garfield McGrady and Lula Fay Walthal McGrady and wife of the late Millard Franklin Minnick Sr. She has been a resident of Bel Air since 1942, living in the house that she and her husband had built. Family was important to her and she was adamant about being in her home when she passed away. She enjoyed working with kids and served as an assistant Sunday school teacher at Bel Air Church of the Nazarene where her mother was one of the founding members. She also enjoyed gardening, flowers and canning.

Mrs. Minnick is survived by her son, Millard "Frank" F. Minnick Jr. and wife, Carolyn, of Aberdeen; grandchildren, Millard "Frank" F. Minnick III and wife, Terry, of Bel Air, Mary E. Yurish and husband, Edward, of Glen Burnie and Jason A. Minnick of Aberdeen; seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jason Minnick, Nate Bowman, Chuck Barrows, Steven Lynch, Zack McGrady and Patrick McGrady.
