Ruth Diana Burrell

Ruth Diana Burrell, 71, of Edgewood, MD passed away on September 19, 2017 at her home. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of Edwin Leroy and Myrtle Charlotte (Sparks) Smith. She started employment with the MVA as a clerk typist and then retired as manager after 38 years of service. After retirement she enjoyed her family and traveling with her husband. She also enjoyed making crafts.

Mrs. Burrell is survived by her husband of over 53 years, Charles Wallace Burrell; son, Jason C. Burrell (Rachel); 2 grandchildren and 1 on the way; and daughter-in-law, Tammy Riley.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Charles John Burrell and one grandchild.
