Ruth C. Cotton

RUTH C. COTTON, age 83, of Forest Hill, MD, died on May 3, 2007, at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center, Bel Air, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Katherine Margaret Jenkins Childs and the wife of the late Guy A. Cotton. She retired from Bendix Corp. after 15 years as a secretary and retired from Father Martins Ashley after 15 years as a receptionist. She was an avid bridge player.

Mrs. Cotton is survived by two sons, Richard Allen Cotton of Forest Hill, MD, and Guy William Cotton of Dallas, TX; two daughters, Katherine Lynn Kane and Karen Lee Bradshaw, both of New Park, PA; one brother, Ray Childs of Salton On The Sea, CA; seven grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by one brother, Thomas Linwood Childs.
