Ruth Ann Woods

Ruth Ann Woods, age 50, of Baltimore, MD passed away on April 8, 2019 at her home. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of William Franklin Woods and Dolores "Lois" Helena (Sheets) Adams. Ruth attended North Harford High School and Graduated from Vo-Tech in 1986. She enjoyed managing Sizzlers Steak House in Bel Air and Govans most of her life, until they closed. She was an animal lover and loved her dogs. Ruth enjoyed giving back by volunteering at Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Center (BARCS). She was a Ravens fan and enjoyed gardening and her flowers. Ruth currently worked at Advanced Auto Parts in Parkville where she enjoyed meeting customers that became dear friends.

Ms. Woods is survived by sister, Jacqueline "Jacki" Woods of Bel Air and her partner, Mark Preston; brother, William "Bill" Woods of Delta, PA and his wife, Melissa; two step sisters, Heather Owen of York, PA and her husband, Neil and Jennifer Adams of Mechanicsburg, PA; step father, John Henry Adams of York, PA; nephews, Billy and Zachary Woods, Robby, Devin, and Michael Alexander, and Matthew Klein; nieces, Danielle Alexander and Cheyenne Klein.

She was preceded in death by father, William Franklin Woods and mother, Dolores "Lois" Helena Adams.
